POST 1: A country I would like to visit

 Hi!

I am Antonella and the country I would like to visit is Laos.

About this country I know a variety of things, mostly that I have read. It's located in South Asia, it borders China, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and Burma (countries that I would also like to visit), it's capital is Vientiánand it was part of the ancient kingdom of Lan Xang, it has gone through a number of historical processes such as colonization, civil war, communism and independence, and their language is a combination of Lao and French.

Although I would like to visit many countries in the Indochinese province, in Laos I would particularly like to work and live. The country is my preference for its culture and the green and irregular environment of the country, also because the cities are still built with architecture of Buddhist and French colonial temples, a very interesting combination that mixes part of my historical interests in my career, architecture.

Of course, I would first have to learn the language, so I hope to prepare for it in the years I have left of studies.
